NDCCITMA is an initiative of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) driven by the determination to improve the life of the people of the Niger Delta Region and its avowed commitment to reposition the capital and investment potentials of the region. Its vision for NDCCITMA is to provide a sustainable structure and platform through which established entrepreneurs, innovators and struggling businesses can advance their aspirations.
NDDC, through the Chambers of Commerce seeks to bring investment opportunities to the attention of potential investors within and outside the country, provide jobs for the Niger Delta youths, develop skills and entrepreneurship, adopt and adapt technologies to increase productivity and promote export of goods and services.
The Chambers of Commerce is positioned as a catalyst for development for all sectors and categories of the economy, such as the informal sector: Nano, Micro, Small, Medium and right up to large scale businesses and industries. The Chambers is expected to enhance the Niger Delta Development Commission’s drive in achieving its Vision and Mission with the goal of boosting the socio-economic development of the Region through Commerce, Trade and Industry.
Members of the Board of Directors are selected from across the States of the Niger Delta region with contribution from Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA). The Directors are all seasoned men and women with proven track records of achievements in their chosen fields. They bring on board their vast experience to build the Chambers to the benefit of the Niger Delta Region, its people and the nation at large. The NDCCITMA look forward to partner all relevant stakeholders in the region, particularly the State government to grow commerce, trade and industry in the region.
